The NSGA is excited to partner with Saint Mary’s University to educate Gambian youth and community members on the importance of clean water. This fall (2011) we are initiating a Peer Health Education program on water quality and water quantity in The Gambia.
This project is intended to:
- Increase knowledge on water borne diseases.
- Educate about healthy water habits to prevent the spread of water borne disease.
- Raise awareness of water scarcity.
- Promote safe ways of conserving water.
